Breeje Schuler will join the Eagles all the way from Te Aroha, New Zealand. She attends St. Peter’s Cambridge High School and plays club for the Waikato Wizards. In addition to basketball, Schuler also plays volleyball and netball.

Schuler will bring plenty of international experience to Cheney. In 2021, she was named to the New Zealand 19U National MVP. She played on the N.Z. U17 national’s tournament team and national team in 2020, and on the U16 national team in 2018. She has won many championships for those squads as well, winning the U15 and U19 national championships, in addition to two with the U17 team. She currently averages 20 points and eight rebounds per game.

Born on Nov. 15, Schuler is the daughter of Vivian and Anthony Schuler. Her sister, Dejaan Schuler is a sophomore guard at Casper College in Wyoming. She plans on majoring in biology and wants to play professional basketball before finding a career working outdoors in New Zealand.
