“My name is Cooper Lepou. I am a 6’2 point guard. I am a big competitor and want to win the right way by being a team first player and seeing my teammates succeed to. I am a confident pg that will take care of the ball, run organised offence as well as being able to score myself at all 3 levels, especially from the 3 point line. I have a quick catch and shoot release with also being able to shoot deep off the dribble. I work hard to perfect my craft and believe that hard work beats talent. Because I have worked hard, I have achieved a lot of success this year. I made my NZNBL debut season for the Indian Panthers (10.8ppg) with having the 4th highest 3pt% across the league at 41.2%. I was awarded All Star 8 at the NBA Asia Basketball Without Boarders Camp. I was apart of the U19 New Zealand team that competed in the NBA Academy Games in Atlanta (2.0 3pm, 37% 3PT). I also got awarded All Star 5 at the NZ U18 Nationals. I currently attend Rosmini College in Auckland, New Zealand.”
