Steven Adams and the Grizzlies stuffed the stat sheets after thanksgiving. The Grizzlies snapped a 2-game losing streak with 3 players achieving a double-double: Steven Adams accumulated 15 points and  11 rebounds;  Ja Morant with 23 points and 11 assists and Brandon Clarke had 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Despite dealing with an illness as reported earlier, Adams logged 25 mins for the night.  The Grizzlies dominated the Pelicans with the game well in control for the first 3 quarters.

 

The Pelicans missed CJ McCollum due to Health and Safety protocol. And they lost Brandon Ingram in the second quarter due to a left-toe injury.Trey Murphy III led the Pelicans with 21 points. Zion Williamson scored 14 points. This is the first time Williamson and Morant play against each other in NBA since 647 days ago.

The grizzlies will play against the Knicks in New York on Sunday next.
