Steven Adams hacked into another NBA record today: He is now ranked 50th in career total offensive rebounds. He passed Dan Roundfield (a 12-year NBA Vets) grabbing his 2447th offensive rebound vs Minnesota Timberwolves. Adams pulled 9 rebounds this game filling every category in the stat sheets apart from 3 point shots. Memphis was able to out-rebound the timberwolves with 46 to 33.

During the walk-off interview, when asked: what helped Memphis to wear down the other team on rebounding? Ja Morant attributes it to Adams, saying: “Steve-o man, he gets lots of credit for it. It is rubbing off on everybody else…”


Memphis started the game cold, shooting 0 for 7 from 3. However, by halftime, Memphis was able to build the lead to double digits.
