Steven Adams notches his fourth double-double in a Memphis Grizzlies loss. Shooting 75% on the field, Adams also contributed 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal.

The Grizzlies’ usual starting backcourt Ja Morant and Desmond Bane took a night off due to minor injuries.

Washing out scored short-handed Memphis from the 1st quarter and never looked back. Deni Avdija tied his career high in scoring with 21 points. Kristaps Porzingis leads the Beal-less Washington with 25 points.

The differences

The key difference between the two teams tonight is with three points: Grizzlies only made 9 three-point shots from 28 attempts, whereas the Wizards were able to make 19 threes of 40 attempts.

This game was the fourth straight victory for the Wizards since the Grizzlies beat them last Sunday with Morant and Bane. The pair had a combined 51-point game outing.

The grizzlies will play against New Orleans on Tuesday night local time.
